Outdoor Activities

»Mesquite Country Club

Mesquite Country Club is a unique, but traditional layout. While short in overall yardage, 6,400 at the tips, it is far from an easy golf course. Tree lined fairways and bunkered greens makes accuracy the prime objective. Selective water hazards next to rolling fairways increase the need. Some of the greens have tiers, but they are not overbearing because the speed is watched closely. With the wonderful mountain views, playing here makes for a pleasurable and challenging experience. »Tommy Jacobs Bel Air Greens

Bel Air Greens is a nine-hole executive golf course which makes it a great place to practice and play a quick round if you are short on time. Although it's a small par 32 course, you can still find some challenge with five holes of water and narrow fairways, and the small quick greens call for accuracy in chip shots. Bel Air is a very scenic course with lots of trees and great views of the nearby mountains – it doesn't have the desert feel of many of the other courses in the Palm Springs area. Conveniently located near downtown Palm Springs, Bel Air has a driving range and professional lessons too. For an extra $5.00 during twilight hours, you can play another nine holes – now that's a bargain. – Linda Steinmuller
