The Darke County Fairgrounds plays host to what is touted to be "the largest county fair on earth", and this is certainly no exaggeration. The Fairborn Theater is a historic movie theater located on 1.1 acres (0.45 hectares) of land. Consisting of a theme of the aviation architecture the theater is termed as historical. Featuring a theater of 1000 seats, this brick concrete foundation looks great. The interior consists of the elements that showcase paintings of soldiers and the aircraft that were a part of the World War II. The theater is a great visit place and was listed on the register of National Historic Places due to it's historic significant architecture.

The sprawling Health, Physical Education and Recreation Center (better known as HPER Center) covers all the sports facilities of the Wittenberg University. This includes the magnificent and multipurpose Pam Evans Smith Arena - which is used for inter-collegiate sports events and concerts, as well as the Edwards-Maurer Field and Earl F. Morris Track that serves as home fields for football, lacrosse, field hockey and soccer teams. And that's not all, as the center also comprises the Carleton Davidson Stadium, numerous state-of-the-art tennis courts and racquetball courts, swimming pool and a fitness center for the students.
