Story Slam - Sharing Life @ Mic
Doyle's CafeMarch 27, 2015 7:00 PM
3484 Washington Street
Boston, MA 02130
1st Sundays 7:00PM $10 admission Come and share your own human experience or listen to outrageous true tales from Boston and beyond. Think you can tell a great story? Come and share your five minute  story for a panel of three to five judges. Competitors will drop their name in a hat and be chosen at random to compete against nine other tellers.   Rather sit back and watch the events unravel? Listeners have an opportunity to participate in storytelling games and vote for an audience choice winner. We cant wait to listen to your great stories!  Each month a theme is provided to provide framework for the 10 tellers selected.  Trivia games with prizes take place in between tellers while the judges judge.  Stories are 5 minutes long.  $50 cash prize for 1st place and $25 Doyles give certificate for 2nd place.     FAQs  Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? No there is no age limit.  We don't have control over the content of the stories told but the even is a "PG" event.  Small children would be bored.  Quiet babes in arms are welcome.  Tellers age 13 and up can compete.  What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? Green Street or Forest Hills Station on the Orange line or plenty of free parking in 2 lots or on the street. Can I reserve a seat? We offered reserved tables with the purchase of 4 or more tickets.  Please email: robinmaxfield@mac.com with the email address used for the purchase of the tickets and the best available table will be reserved on first come first served basis.  Where can I contact the organizer with any questions? robinmaxfield@mac.com
