The first church of Rueil-Malmaison, Saint-Pierre Saint-Paul boasts a history which stretches back to the 8th Century. The current edifice includes a nave, 40 meters (131 feet) long and 13 meters (42 feet) high, dating from the 16th Century and a 17th-century façade which echoes the architectural style of the Église de la Sorbonne. Built in 2003, the Frédéric Ozanam Church stands tall in Cergy le Haut, presenting a pure white facade to the public. The architecture truly sets this place of worship apart from its peers; it is made up of rectangular planes, from the already tall church body to the soaring bell tower with a massive cross emblazoned on the side. The glass doors are surrounded by yet another rectangle of glass panes, forming a massive portal to the interior.
