Chino Hills State Park is a 14,102 acre park in the Santa Ana Canyon Hills. The land was originally used for cattle grazing and visitors can see some remaining features from that time, including a ranch house and windmills. In 1984 Chino Hills State Park became a state park. Walk along the miles of trails and see if you can spot the wildlife, such as red-tailed hawks, California gnatcatcher, and bobcats. There are also bicycle and equestrian trails.
This is the place to go if you have always wanted to be a race car driver. Here you can choose from several different courses, from a basic one to one with a lot of twists and turns. This difficult course is part of the Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms. It has treacherously narrow fairways and a constantly foreboding rough. This is a very hilly course providing some outstanding views, as a number of holes commence from elevated tees. This course and the nearby Didrikson Zaharias course combine to make one of the best golf resorts in the Los Angeles area and can subsequently be quite busy.
