The distinct and eminent John Hancock Warehouse is located on Lidsay Road in York, Maine. The ancient warehouse site was constructed in the 18th Century and boats of a nearly 300 year old history. It mainly functioned as a storehouse along the river, and has been operated by various owners over the centuries. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1969.
