It is easy to recognize that the existing church is a result of a number of additions and alterations made over time. An interesting find was that some of the stones used to build the church bear remains of ancient carvings, suggesting that they were taken from an already existing structure. Apart from its intriguing architecture, the church is also home to a number of memorials. As this is still an active church, be sure to contact the church office before planning a visit.
