Louisiana Military Museum chronicles the involvement of Louisiana men and women in the American Revolution, Civil War, Spanish American War, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, and today's war on terror. Articles on exhibit include weapons such as swords, muskets, and heavy machine guns, personal objects including medals, diaries, and Bibles, and historical data.
Located in the beautifully restored Kidd-Davis House that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and dates back to 1885, this museum contains numerous exhibits and displays that depict the romantic and political history of Ruston and Lincoln Parish.
Over 30 local artists are represented at this fine art gallery that features a wide array of traditional folk crafts, contemporary crafts, and fine arts.
