Designed by Ted Robinson in 1998, the Riverwalk Golf Club makes a great golfing destination for both professionals and beginners. The Friar Course is the most challenging of the three 9 hole course that cater to the club. The course is also the one with the maximum yard length and consists of a daunting combination of fairways, sand bunkers and waterfalls. Call for open hours and bookings.
This is a great place to work on your short game. All 18 holes are par 3, with distances between them ranging from 45-100 yards. Grab your putter and nine iron and come on over. You will find the 17th hole to be especially challenging, since it requires you to hit the ball off the tee, up and over a very tall tree. A great snack bar in one of California's oldest adobe buildings awaits you after you finish your game.
The 6000-seater Torero Stadium is home to the San Diego University Toreros, the football and soccer teams. It hosts Pioneer Football League matches and the field conforms to NCAA regulations. The stadium also hosts diverse events like graduation ceremonies and concerts. In 2001, the stadium upgraded its illumination system making it ideal for night games and events.
The Jenny Craig Pavilion which opened on 5th October 2000 has a seating capacity of 5,100. It is home to the men's and women's basketball teams and the volleyball team. The center boasts of a state-of-the-art Athletic Training Facility. The arena, reminiscent of the 16th century Spanish Renaissance theme, contains high tech sound and lighting. The 2001, 2002, and 2003 West Coast Conference Basketball Championships, the 2002 California Junior College Basketball Championships, the 2003 NFL Celebrity Basketball Game, the Official Super Bowl XXXVII Luncheon and the 2004 Judo National Championships are only some of the high profile sports events that have been held here.

Teams of participants don special vests and equip themselves with laser "guns" in a time event. Computerized scoring and printouts by player reveal who is in the lead.
