    Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey
    WinstonsOctober 21, 2014
    1921 Bacon Street
    San Diego, CA 92107
None of the members of the Tulsa, Oklahoma based four piece Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey are named Jacob Fred; the group's music could be considered a jazz odyssey, though. Combining elements of avant-garde, electronica, jazz and fusion, the band has managed to arrive at a unique sound that often defies categorization. Formed in 1994, JFJO has had a successful run as an instrumental outfit and has been accepted by the jam band community for its tendencies to turn songs into experimental jams that highlight each musicians instrumental prowess.
