    »Black Horse London Deli

This tiny storefront does a remarkable impression of an authentic London pub. It might not have the seasoned wood paneling of the Old World version, but it does have a lived-in charm and a good chunk of SF's ex-pat Brit population downing pints of Guinness and plates of bangers and mash. You can also have a game of darts while keeping up with the latest soccer match on the bar's television. The counter staff is cheerful as it dishes up a plate of blood sausage or makes an all-American BLT. An added plus to some, smoking is allowed.

Apart from loud music and a wild crowd dancing all night, this multi-faceted club has loads of options in its kitty to keep guests coming back for more. You could spend a great deal of time in the spacious room and indulge in a game of pool, variety of arcade games and a couple of dartboard games. Dining is a pleasure here with cheese quesadillas and mozzarella sticks to go with a basket of fries. To add to the joy, this bar offers great nightly drink specials. With so many interesting features, this bar really is bar none.

    »Bimbo's 365 Club

The retro luxuriousness of Bimbo's 365 Club's interior adds unexpected character to the venue. A wide variety of artists perform here, from local talent to major-label superstars on international tours. Past headliners have included the Detroit Cobras, the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, They Might Be Giants, Seu Jorge, Aimee Mann and the Flaming Lips. Weekly Wing nights fill the floor with Charleston-ing zoot-suiters, accentuating the original plush crimson curtains of Bimbo's 1931 opening.

    »7th Note

Depending on the date, you could find a Goth rock band or a swing band swinging. The crowd will be dressed according to the show, so the scene is never the same. But, what you CAN count on is a great show! There is a big stage, excellent sound, a bar, balcony, couches and tables where you can take it all in. Plus the crowd never disappoints when it comes to being entertaining in and of themselves.

Do not come here for sightseeing. The drag queens that drink at Divas venture to this popular spot to let their hair down and have fun. Mostly over 40, the men here are pretty tough, despite floor-length dresses and always friendly. If you are a veteran of the scene however, you will like it here fine and you will find a crowd that appreciates the nuances of fine drag. Drinks are strong and the service is fast, you are, after all, among royalty. Only cash is accepted.
