First thing that might be able to tell you the nature of this Christian soft rock group: all four permanent members of the band consider their work with music to be a part time activity, scheduling it around their full-time work--mentoring teenagers at their church in McDonough, Georgia. This bit of info is useful in understanding what type of band Casting Crowns is and how much their God means to them. The band made a splash in the Christian music scene after releasing a string of well received albums throughout the 2000s and playing contemporary worship services on Sunday mornings at their church in Georgia.

LVL UP is an experimental pop/rock band from New York City that was formed in 2010 by Dave Benton and Mike Caridi. Initially created as a lo-fi pop project, the duo became a full band once Benton and Caridi began seeing a positive response to their music. LVL UP released its debut full-length album Space Brothers, in 2011, collecting a tight-knit fanbase around the New York Area. Signed to Double Double Whammy records, the band droped theExtra Worlds EP, in 2012, moving forward with its space rock sound by incorporating even more dynamic, experimental and expansive sounds into its pop music.
