This outstanding concert hall was opened in 1997 and is home to the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra. The large hall, which seats 2,008, houses a 68-stop pipe organ and is used primarily for orchestral concerts. The smaller, 453-seat hall is a traditional shoebox-shaped hall that is used mainly for solo recitals and chamber music concerts. As its name suggests, the Inter x cross Creative Center, or ICC for short, is a place which strives to be a point of confluence for a variety of events.
