Rated 5 out of 5 Nicely done updates to the hotel make it very attractive. August 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Alan Comfortable stay in a modest property If you go to Sept Iles you'll find there is one chain hotel in town - this Confort Inn. Upon pulling into the parking lot you can see this is a mature property. From the moment you cross the threshold into the lobby that perception changes. The inerior of this property has been totally updated and they've done an outstanding job. I have stayed in brand new Comfort Inns and from the interior I cannot tell the difference between this property and a new one.The staff here is very friendly and helpful.I have now stayed at this hotel twice and will absolutely go back whenever in town. I strongly recommend you have a reservation because this property has been full each time I've been there. July 22, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 Great Staff! Great staff, but price is high, compared to brand new hotel on the ocean beside Le Cage De Sports. July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Clean and beautiful I was very excited to stay at this hotel during my business trip as it was new and had all the amenities I was looking for. The bathroom was beautifully done with a modern sink and soaker tub and the bedroom was spacious with a very comfortable bed, tv, internet availability, couch and an iron and ironing board if needed. Although I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, it was nice to have the option to have breakfast as it was included in the cost. The hotel staff were very friendly and inviting and I was greeted with a smile by everyone if even just passing by in the lobby. The only minor issue I had was that the internet connection was a bit slow, but that is a minor thing compared to all the other wonderful things that this hotel offers. I will definitely be staying at this hotel for my future business trips to Sept-Iles! June 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Alan Exceeded my expectations Sept-Iles is not a big city, and Comfort Inn appeared to be the only name-brand hotel in town, so I took it. Upon pulling into the lot, the red brick and the layout tell you this building was built a few years ago (the exterior is very well kept). The interior tells a whole different story. The lobby and the rooms have been updated recently and are very visually appealing and very comfortable. The secret weapon at this property is the staff. Every member of the staff (the folks I encountered) was very friendly and professional at the same time. The location of the property is ideal with stores and restaurants very nearby. This is a property I will definitely return to when I return to town next month. May 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by mathmate Under renovations but everything is under control This location is under renovations, but everything is under control.I like the strict no-smoking policies, clean and comfortable room, availability of a microwave and refrigerator, in-room TV, secure patio door, room controlled A/C and heating with fresh-air intake. Coffee is available all day, and continental breakfast is included.Reception staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is literally walking distance year-round from two malls and plenty of restaurants are close by. Fresh fruits are available from Maxi for those inclined to health eating. For those physically challenged, be sure to ask for a room on the ground floor as there is no elevator available to the second floor. I am sure hotel staff will help with luggages whenever necessary.I had a little surprise during my stay. While working in the room on a sunny and mild morning, I smelled cigarette smoke in the room. A brief check at the patio door revealed the cause: someone was smoking right outside the wall-mounted A/C unit, which doubles as a heater and fan. I am sure this freak occurrence can be avoided by putting up signs to divert smokers elsewhere.Although the hotel is going through renovations, all services are maintained. I am looking forward to the renovated hotel which offers free hot continental breakfast in a dedicated room. Mmmm... bacon and eggs with best coffee in town to start the day! March 9, 2014
