The movie theater shows the latest in Hollywood releases. With comfortable seating and the newest in sound and visual technology, it's no wonder this cinema is popular with the locals. The Bowling Center is open seven days a week, is reasonably priced and even offers party packages for group events. Gaffney Grill and Sports Bar offers full food service to the Bowling Center until 10p every night and a limited menu to patrons after 10p.

Playing in the Coastal Plain League, The Gastonia Grizzlies are Gaston County's local semi-professional baseball team. Home games are played at the Buddy Lewis Field at Sims Legion Park in Gastonia, NC. Their first season in the league was in 2002 and they finished first in the West Division with a record of 14 wins and 9 losses. Known for their outrageous promotions and contests. \

This venue, home to The Yorkville Players, hosts several shows in the field of performing arts. A 560 seat theatre space fitted with a good sound and light system, features concerts and theatrical performances throughout the year. The beautiful 1920s setting just adds to the performance value.
