St. Lucia is a one-man music project based out of Brooklyn who first attracted attention after posting his song "All Eyes On You" on his blog. The name St. Lucia is a reference to the Caribbean Island of the same name, which describes the euphoric rush of escape found in St. Lucia's music. His self-titled debut EP, released in 2011, chronicles his journey from South Africa to the UK to New York in an uplifting wistfulness that was inspired by old family photos and his childhood in an exotic environment. St. Lucia recorded his album in an home-studio and oversaw almost every detail of the recording, delivering a emotionally charged brand of indie pop.
