Touring with other heavy-hitters such as Diplo, DJ CRaz and Knife Party, Bro Safari has managed to stand outamongthe crowd with his heavy fusion of bass music and dubstep.

    »Deafheaven

    September 21, 2014 8:30 PM

Conceived in 2010 by various musicians formerly involved in shoegaze and grindcore bands, Deafheaven shifted its sound into territory the musicians hadn't forayed into: black metal, post-rock and screamo. While the San Francisco-based band didn't initially intend to release its music, it eventually submitted a demo to a few blogs and was met with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Since then the five-piece has signed to Deathwish Inc. and has begun touring its music around the US, playing at various festivals and consistently winning over audiences.
