With all four members sporting a varying style of David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust haircut and decked out in Ramones-esque attire, The Biters create the type of music an onlooker would expect: glitter garage with pop punk leanings. Formed in 2009, the Atlanta, Georgia garage band admittedly relies on rock icons of the past to create its image and sound. While the group may attempt to emulate a retro culture, and while its music does flaunt a basic knowledge of classic rock songs, The Biters sound is very much a product of the modern pop-punk movement. This mash-up of upbeat mimicry has found a large audience in the band's native city and has allowed them to tour successfully throughout the South.

Based out of New Jersey, Seth Haley, who performs under his Com Truise guise, is a electronic producer who creates mid-fi synth-wave, slow-motion funk. While this style of music might appear to be hard for some people to wrap their minds around, after hearing his music, listeners can't help but dig the chillwave-esque sounds and the mellow grooves that hark back to 1980s nostalgia. While Com Truise is considered somewhat of an underground music project, as time wears on and as more material is released to the public, his notoriety will undoubtedly continue to grow.
