A member of the 12 team summer circuit, wooden bat Valley Baseball League, this baseball team is one of nine summer leagues that are members of the National Association of Summer Collegiate Baseball. They provide fun, family-oriented baseball games during their season.

Taking place each November before Thanksgiving, this annual event offers a choice of running a one and a half, three, or six mile race on a mile and a half loop of grass and pathways through a park. Awards are given for the man and woman who place first in each race, as well as for categories based on age group. After the races, there is a drawing of names for frozen turkeys to be distributed to the winners.
