Milano's provides decent Italian fare - pasta, antipasti, parmigiana and a well-stocked salad bar. It's an alternative to Williamsburg's many chain restaurants and its predilection for delicious, but heavy, Southern fare. Prices are a little on the steep side but portions are well-sized.
This award-winning local chain believes in cooking its ribs 'low and slow' resulting in ridiculously tender, flavorful meat that practically falls off the bone. Red Hot and Blue serves up great traditional American barbecue, with their own delicious sauces alongside enduring favorites such as their chili, Brunswick stew and their Memphis half chicken. And if you have space after dinner, Red Hot and Blue has some traditional desserts, including peach cobbler and peanut butter pie, for a real down-home flavor.

Popular among college students and night owls, the Library Tavern serves up a variety of foods ranging from steak and seafood to tasty pizzas, salads and sandwiches. The food is pretty affordable, but the main reason that this is such a hot spot is because of the bar's hours. Unlike many places in Williamsburg, the Libary Tavern is open past 2am, so its a great place to go if you're looking for some late night fun in this historical city. They have a reasonable selection of beers and are known for making strong mixed drinks. It's a great place to head to for a night of laughs with your pals.

Uno's is a good family choice with its reasonably inventive kids menu; its also a good place to go if you have absolutely no idea what you want for dinner because Uno's has pretty much everything.
