The Recreation Center at the Lycoming College is meant to serve as a wellness and fitness facility for students. It not only offers wellness and recreation but it also guides students with the professional training required for the same. The center houses a swimming pool, a well-furnished gymnasium, table tennis facility, multi-purpose court for basketball and volleyball, and a technologically equipped event venue. The St. James Episcopal Church is a graceful church building constructed in 1856. Built with the Gothic Revival style of architecture, it was designed by the famous architect Richard Upjohn. The church has a petite area of 0.3 acre (0.12 hectare) and has been a part of the National Register of Historic Places since 1979. The congregation continues to function till date with regular masses and ceremonies being conducted.

The buildings feature various architectural styles, ranging across Federal, Georgian and Victorian.
